About

Welcome to Sign Language for All, a free educational resource created as part of my senior thesis project at SUNY New Paltz. The goal of this site is to make learning American Sign Language accessible to teachers, students, parents, and lifelong learners by bringing lessons, historical context, and trusted resources together in one place.
My philosophy is that sign language should be a common part of both school curricula and home life. Our lessons are designed to fit into 2–3 class periods but can be adapted to meet the needs of learners of any age, in or out of the classroom.
Signed languages should be an essential part of our learning, and community. Through the exploration of ASL and PISL we are given the opportunity to use communication as a medicine.
